Our Owners:
Daydreams Child Development Center opened in August 2002. Daydreams is owned and operated by Dr. Shanon and Dave Gibson. Shanon graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Doctorate in Education. Shanon has worked in education since 1980 and taught in Orange County Public Schools for 15 years. Dave holds a Master’s degree in business from FIT. He currently works for Lockheed Martin where he has been employed for over 25 years. Dave and Shanon live in Apopka with their daughters, Sarah and Michelle.
Our Directors:
Lenka Swaggerty is our Director. She is currently a student at the University of Central Florida and is working on a degree in Exceptional Education.
Shana McKenzie is our Assistant Director. She is currently a student at the University of Central Florida and is completing her degree in Early Childhood Education in May of 2010.
